Aromatic blending for the sheer pleasure of the aroma is a combination of creativity and science in itself. Did you know essential oils are grouped together, based on their aromas, and oils from the same categories tend to blend well together? The “note” of an essential oil is based on how quickly it evaporates. When you put a blend of oils on your skin, it will smell one way, but 3 hours later it may smell another way because some of the oils in your blend have evaporated. These notes are based on the musical scale and are referred to as top notes, middle notes, and base notes.
Now consider the art of blending nothing but pure and natural essential oils, drop by drop. Not only (of course), for the sensational aromas they possess but for each one’s own therapeutic benefits. Did you know these blends of essential oils are used therapeutically for promoting something specific like relaxation, energy, focus, clarity or just keeping bugs away, etc? Our body makes use of these benefits through inhalation, absorption through the skin and ingestion.
Our Essential Oil Roll-On Blends
It’s more than a pocket-sized fragrance but a masterfully created therapeutic tool. Each roll-on has been individually “designed”; with carefully selected oils to target specific physical and emotional issues, owing to the unique properties of those species. As you inhale the wonderful aromas associated with your roll-on, the essential oils are getting to work at your pressure points.
Application and Uses
Essential oils must always be diluted (according to strict dilution recommendations – for safety) before we eat them, put them on our skin or anything else really. This is why the essential oils in our handy roll-on blends have been diluted in what’s known as a “carrier oil”. Doing this allows us to safely apply the essential oils to the skin.
We use apricot kernel oil and olive oils as our carriers.
Directions: Roll it over the neck and temples each day, back and forth once or twice. You can apply this to the bottoms of your feet as well.
If pregnant or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Always dilute essential oils before using on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid using on infants and very small children.
